How It Works
At low doses, Methylene Blue acts as a mitochondrial redox cycler, accepting electrons from NADH and donating them to cytochrome c, helping bypass blocks in the electron transport chain. This can support ATP production and reduce ROS formation in certain contexts. It also has MAO-A inhibitory and neuromodulatory effects, which are under study for cognitive and mood applications.
